General Description
BlueCore® CSR8311™ QFN Automotive is a product
from CSR's Connectivity Centre. It is a single-chip
radio and baseband IC for Bluetooth 2.4GHz systems
including EDR to 3Mbps and Bluetooth low energy.
Dedicated signal and baseband processing is included
for full Bluetooth operation.
When used with CSR's Synergy host software suite,
CSR8311 QFN provides a system fully qualified to the
Bluetooth v4.0 specification for data and voice
communications.
Applications
Automotive
USB Bluetooth dongles
CSR designed CSR8311 QFN to reduce PCB area
and the number of external components, including no
requirement for an external balun. This ensures that
production costs are minimised.
The device incorporates auto-calibration and BIST
routines to simplify development, type approval and
production test.
